The Holo Card Pack includes 6 alternate art versions of the Base Cards with a holofoil effect on them.
It can only be played together with Ironwood, the asymmetrical, card-driven strategy game for 1-2 players.
Take on the role of either the Ironclad or the Woodwalker, each equipped with thematically unique components: heavy metal pieces for the Ironclad or elegant wooden tokens for the Woodwalkers. The two sides not only differ in material but also in objectives. As the Ironclad, use your drill to mine valuable crystals and construct powerful forges. As the Woodwalker, traverse the forests to launch surprise attacks and uncover mystical totems.
Both factions feature entirely unique multi-use card decks that can be used for actions or combat. While the Ironclad control mighty golems and armies, the Woodwalker rely on swift guerrilla tactics.
Despite its deep strategy and asymmetry, Ironwood is quick to learn and boasts intuitive rules.
The game also includes a solo mode designed by Dávid Turczi and Xavi Bordes Aymerich, allowing you to challenge either faction. The difficulty level can be customized for an engaging experience.
Ironwood has already garnered international acclaim, earning a high rating of 8.0 on BGG and securing spots on numerous "Best New Releases of 2024" lists.
The German edition of Ironwood will be published by Wonderbow in October 2025.
