Giveaway Terms and Conditions "Golden Dragon"

1. The promoter of this giveaway is Avalia Studios GmbH, Elbdeich 33a, 21522 Hohnstorf (Elbe), Germany, community@wonderbowgames.com (hereinafter "the Promoter").

2. One (1) prize will be awarded: an exclusive game component for the board game "8 Dragons" – a hand-crafted gold-plated silver dragon figurine, made by a goldsmith from Lüneburg (Germany) (collector's item, not suitable for children), with an approximate material value of €160 (hereinafter "the Prize"). Only one (1) winner will be selected. The Prize consists solely of the described item. No additional items, including the complete board game "8 Dragons", accessories, or any other content, are included. The Prize cannot be exchanged for cash, substituted, or transferred to a third party.

3. The giveaway is open to natural persons aged 18 or over, worldwide. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. Entry is permitted in the entrant's own name only. Automated entries (e.g. via giveaway services or bots) are not permitted.

4. Entry to the giveaway is made exclusively via the designated entry form. By submitting the form, entrants provide their email address, confirm their participation in the giveaway, and consent to receiving the Promoter's newsletter. This is clearly indicated within the form. New subscribers will receive a confirmation email containing a verification link (double opt-in). Entry to the giveaway becomes valid only upon clicking this link.
Existing newsletter subscribers may enter by completing and submitting the entry form again. No further email confirmation is required, as a valid consent to receive the newsletter is already on record and no new confirmation process is technically triggered. Entry is confirmed upon form submission and will be recorded by the Promoter for verification purposes.
The entry period runs from 21 April 2026 to 11 August 2026, 18:00 (local time Germany). Only one entry per person is permitted.

5. No purchase is necessary. Entry is free of charge and not conditional on purchasing any goods or services.

6. The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries after the close of the entry period. The winner will be notified exclusively by email to the address provided at the time of entry. No public announcement of the winner will be made. The winner must respond within 7 days of receiving the notification and provide the requested details. Failure to respond within this period will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternative winner will be selected. This process may be repeated as necessary.

7. The Prize will be shipped by insured delivery to the address provided by the winner, worldwide, subject to any legal or logistical restrictions. Any additional costs, including customs duties or import taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Please note: given the approximate value of €160, import duties may apply depending on the destination country. The winner is solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from receipt of the Prize.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant where there is reasonable cause to do so, including but not limited to: breach of these Terms and Conditions, provision of false or misleading information, attempts to manipulate the giveaway, or use of unauthorised methods. In such cases, the Prize may be withdrawn even after it has been awarded.

9. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of Avalia Studios GmbH, its officers, employees, and agents arising out of or in connection with this giveaway, regardless of the legal basis, is limited to cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. The Promoter accepts no liability for technical failures, including network, server, or email system outages, that affect participation in the giveaway.

10. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the giveaway at any time for good cause, including but not limited to technical issues, attempted fraud, or legal reasons.

11. This giveaway may be promoted via social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with these platforms. The recipient of any information provided by entrants is exclusively the Promoter, not any social media platform.

12. Participation requires the submission of personal data (in particular an email address). Entry is made via a form in which consent to receive the newsletter and participation in the giveaway are explicitly confirmed. Data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) for the purposes of conducting the giveaway and sending the newsletter. Consent to receive the newsletter may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, via the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not affect a previously confirmed entry into the giveaway. Entrants may also withdraw their giveaway entry at any time by contacting community@wonderbowgames.com.
For new subscribers, consent is obtained via a double opt-in process. For existing subscribers, no new consent is collected; giveaway participation is recorded separately. Personal data will only be shared with third parties where necessary for the administration of the giveaway (e.g. shipping providers). For further information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

13. This giveaway is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. All decisions made by the Promoter are final. The right to legal recourse is excluded.
