We are more than happy to announce our latest project:
Kelp by Carl Robinson
A head-to-head battle of wits, between octopus and shark. Kelp is an asymmetric two player game mixing hidden movement, dice bag building and deckbuilding.
Carl approached us at SPIEL 22 and we instantly fell in love with the game. The nature theme feels fresh and is brilliantly converted into a variety of game mechanics. Still, it is quite easy to learn and played in about an hour. Carl is a great person and very passionate about his game. It will be his first game and he has already put a lot of effort in making the gameplay solid. Working on the game with Carl is a delight.
Among many other things, including playtesting of course, we are now working on getting the game ready for a kickstarter campaign. This means getting beautiful illustrations done and making a prototype that comes closer to the actual game. We are really looking forward to this process.
