Which die can I reroll with Growth tile 3?
You may reroll any die. It can be the same die twice or two different dice.

How many dice go on the Hunger Track after buying cards?
It does not matter how many cards you gain in a single turn—only one die is placed on the Hunger Track whenever you use stored Energy in that turn.

I don’t have any red dice left in my bag, and there’s only one free space remaining on the Hunger Track. What happens now?
As the Shark, it’s crucial to manage your dice bag and always have at least one available red die to attack the Octopus. In this situation, you immediately lose the game. Spending Energy to gain new cards (and dice) always results in moving one die onto the Hunger Track, and since there’s only one free space left, you cannot gain new dice without triggering the loss condition.

I want to use the card Hostile, but there is only one pair of confrontation cards left.
You don't need to use Hostile. If there is only one pair of confrontation cards left, you automatically win the game by successfully attacking the Octopus with a red die. Since your only option is to choose the card that matches the Octopus’s confrontation card, you will win even if you wanted to use Hostile to remove the last pair. The key is to successfully attack.

How do I get the food blocks in play?
To get food blocks into play, you need to play a Learn card, pay its cost, and acquire the Eat card and the matching food block. The food block and the Eat card count as a single item. Immediately place the Eat card on the discard pile (unless the Learn card specifies otherwise), and then exchange the food block with a previously revealed block on the board.
